ELECTRONIC SUBMITTAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By electronically submitting my resume to G.N. Johnston Equipment Co. Ltd. (the “Company”), I consent to: (a) the collection and use of the information in that resume to determine my suitability for a position with the Company; (b) the Company contacting any references that I have provided on my resume or elsewhere in this application, whereby the Company may collect personal information about me from such persons and/or disclose personal information contained in my resume to such persons for the purposes of assessing my suitability for a position with the Company; and (c) the creation of an employee file using information in my resume if I become an employee of the Company.

I understand that the Company may use a third party to perform reference checks on behalf of the Company, and by electronically submitting my resume to the Company, I also consent to this third party collecting, using and disclosing the information contained in my resume for the purposes described above

I understand that human resources personnel and managerial staff of the Company who are responsible for hiring will have access to my resume, which will be stored in the applicant tracking system. I further understand that I may contact the Company’s Vice President of Human Resources to:

• Request access to my personal information;
• Seek rectification of any information that I believe to be inaccurate;
• Make any inquiry about the collection, use, disclosure or storage of my personal information by the Company;
• Revoke consent to the retention, use or disclosure of my personal information.

I understand that the Company will be relying upon information provided by the third parties described above. I hereby release, remise and hold harmless the Company, all related, associated, or subsidiary companies and all of its and their employees, officers, directors and shareholders from any and all actions, causes of action, obligations, liabilities, damages, claims, statutory rights or remedies, complaints, and demands of every nature or kind which I have had, now have, or hereafter may have arising out of any action or inaction taken by the Company as a result of its good faith reliance on the information provided by such third parties.
