  • Position Summary:

    • Reporting to the Director, Sales and Operations – SSG National, the Integrated solutions developer develops and increases market share for Johnston’s SSG business through driving and supporting  large projects identified by local Sales Professionals. Responsible to lead and implement actions, processes and programs that result in sales and profitability growth that are in line with overall company objectives and goals.

       

      How You’ll Make an Impact

       

      • Implement marketing plans and activities in line with sales goals of SSG
      • Work with local Sales Representatives to effectively manage key Large Account relationships to maximize market share and profitability
      • Focus on wholistic and proactive solution development by engaging with Automated System Application Engineers
      • Develop strategic customer relationships with the objective of gaining a clear understanding of their business needs and developing a strategy to satisfy them
      • Maintain routine and consistent contact with Executive level stakeholders within assigned and supported key Large Accounts
      • Develop and present Quarterly / Annual business reviews to key stakeholders within Large Account base
      • Ensure consistency of customer interaction, including professional consultation, contracts and proposal documents
      • Work with Sales Coordination and PMO to deliver an effortless customer experience.
      • Communicate effectively with local Sales team to stay apprised of, and remain engaged with, opportunities at all locations
      • Lead and manage the Tender & RFQ process with all key stakeholders within SSG and 3rd party vendors
      • Communicate effectively with Storage and Automation leadership regarding upcoming projects, budgeting, forecasting and competitive influences within these key accounts

       

       

      What You’ll Bring to the Table

       

      • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 10+ years of business development experience.
      • Extensive ability to manage and direct business development programs with directly related experience in sales, marketing and business development on a national basis
      • Experience managing large clients in the storage solutions industry
      • Broad based technical and business knowledge of the industry
      • A demonstrated ability to enhance margins and work in partnership with the customer to address their needs
      • Ability to be a leader in change management, demonstrate strong aptitude to proactively identify problems and propose effective solutions.
      • Demonstrated leadership and the proven ability to develop and maintain productive customer relationships
      • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
