The Master Data Administrator will be responsible for all activities related to the administration and maintenance of customer data within our JD Edwards business system. Those considering a career in database administration will truly excel in this role if they have a passion for database management. In order to be successful in achieving the job’s objectives, the candidate must have a very strong attention to detail that will ensure that customer information is accurately inputted and organized. The candidate will be very skilled in navigating and utilizing Microsoft Office Applications, with a focus on Microsoft Excel to precisely enter important information without error. As well, this individual will be a strong communicator through all mediums within the organization, ensuring that information is being relayed correctly to key internal contacts who also use this customer information to perform their job duties.

The candidate must have strong data entry skills and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments. The candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment, so naturally strong keyboarding skills and speed are required to manage the volume of work.
Goals:
- Achieve the efficient administration and maintenance of customer data within business systems and Excel
- Maintain the integrity of customer data
Key Work Activities:

Accurately process requests for changes in customer information between Johnston Equipment, Get Paid, and Raymond,

Manage the administration of customer databases for accuracy of records and files,

Update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets on a daily basis, using functions such as VLOOKUPs,
-
Working as a team with other database administrators to correctly process requests for additions, deletions, or modifications for database changes in JD Edwards and other corporate systems,

Maintaining integrity of databases through approvals, careful review and validation of information,

Effectively using issue tracking program (TrackIT) to ensure completion of request submissions and communication to requestor
- Audit requests to ensure approvals meet company policies prior to implementing changes in data,
- Answer inquiries and serve as a technical support in the investigation and resolution of database issues, and
- Communicate with appropriate department to achieve the completion of daily tasks and special projects
