  • Do you have what it takes to be a Shipper Receiver with Johnston Equipment?  Interested? Here is what this position looks like; Your job is to manage all incoming and outgoing shipments, picking and assembling orders. In addition to processing the paperwork including Bills of Lading, packing slips and perform incoming equipment inspections.  You will have the opportunity to be active and on your feet through the loading and off-loading of transportation trucks as well as packing skids and storing equipment.   In this capacity the shipper receiver will manage the labeling of incoming and outgoing units for inventory control, identification of origin, receiving products and the documentation of purchase orders.  You will be expected to work and operate a forklift outside for portions of the shift. 

     

    The ideal candidate for this role can think on their feet possessing an exceptional eye for detail and can work well within the boundaries of outlined procedures.  The shipper receiver must be a highly responsive and proactive individual who enjoys working with others and motivated to make sound decisions autonomously when working alone.   Your ability to acquire pertinent shipment information from internal and external clients confirming and validating their accuracy will make you a star in this role.  The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and be highly dedicated to customer satisfaction for both internal and external clients.   This role will require the lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.  Knowledge of warehouse systems, RF scanning methodology, and JD Edwards is an asset but not necessary.
